Learn more about my journey as an aspiring developer, my work ethics, and my passion for crafting intuitive digital experiences.
Hi, I'm Jan Peter A. Reillo, an aspiring developer based right here in General Santos. For the past 4 years, I've been immersed in the world of technology, focusing on building experiences that are not just functional but genuinely intuitive and engaging for users. My path started at STI College General, where I earned a degree in Computer Science. It was there I discovered my dual passion for designing and the logical puzzle of code. Since then, I've honed my skills in both areas, believing that the best digital products are born from a deep understanding of both aesthetics and implementation.
My design philosophy is rooted in perseverance and problem-solving. I believe that great software starts with understanding the 'why'—the user's needs and how they interact with the productAs an aspiring developer, I strive to bridge the gap between design and engineering. I use my familiarity with prototyping tools like Figma to better understand requirements, ensuring that the Vue.js and Nuxt.js code I write translates into interfaces that are both functional and pixel-perfect. My goal for this internship is to contribute clean, effective code that creates real value for the end-user.
What keeps me excited about development is the opportunity for constant learning. I love the challenge of taking complex requirements and translating them into clean, efficient code. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than the process of turning a static design into a fully functional, interactive reality—and knowing that my work makes the user’s experience smoother and more enjoyable.
